Navi Mumbai International Airport

Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA), after nearly four years of construction, is approaching completion. The airport’s first terminal is scheduled to open in October, marking a significant milestone in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region’s infrastructure expansion. Once operational, NMIA will become the region’s second commercial airport, accommodating approximately 150 daily flights and providing much-needed relief to the congested Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport. Strategically located to serve Navi Mumbai, Thane, and surrounding areas, the airport is expected to boost connectivity, attract investments, and support the rapid urban and economic growth of Mumbai 3.0
